Helianthus nuttallii is a species of perennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Canada, and North America. They have simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Flowers are visited by Lycaena hyllus and Southern Dogface. Individuals can grow to 10 feet.
