Gaillardia pinnatifida is a species of perennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States and The Neotropics. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Strymon melinus, Copaeodes aurantiaca, Reakirt's Blue, and Pontia protodice. Individuals can grow to 0.053 m.
