Gutierrezia californica (San Joaquin Snakeweed) is a species of shrub in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States and The Neotropics. They have simple, broad leaves and achenes. Flowers are visited by Apodemia mormo virgulti, Halictus ligatus, Woodland Skipper, and Crossidius discoideus.
