Latimeria chalumnae (Coelacanth) is a species of vertebrates in the family Latimeriidae. They are listed as critically endangered by IUCN and in cites appendix i. They are native to Indian Ocean. Individuals can grow to 200 cm. They rely on swimming to move around.
