Diplodus vulgaris (Blacktail Bream) is a species of bony fishes in the family porgies. It is a planktotroph. Individuals can grow to 1300 g. Blacktail Bream has sexual reproduction; it is a protandrous hermaphrodite. Reproduction is iteroparous and oviparous.
