Carcharhinus albimarginatus (Silvertip Shark) is a species of modern sharks in the family requiem sharks. They are native to Asia, Oceania continent (Australia, NZ and islands), Ethiopia, the Palearctic, The Neotropics, Indian Ocean, The Nearctic, and Pacific Ocean. They are solitary, crepuscular carnivores. Individuals can grow to 300 cm. They have parental care (female provides care). They rely on swimming and carcharhiniform to move around.
