Hyperoodon planifrons (Flatheaded Bottlenose Whale) is a species of mammals in the family Unidentified Ziphiidae. They are listed in cites appendix i. They are native to Indian Ocean and Pacific Ocean. They are carnivores. Individuals can grow to 9 m. Reproduction is viviparous. They rely on swimming and lift powered swimming to move around.
