Hyotissa hyotis (Giant Coxcomb Oyster) is a species of mussels in the family Gryphaeidae. They are native to Natal. Dead Giant Coxcomb Oyster form shallow marine sediments. Individuals can grow to 30 cm. They have sexual reproduction.
