Dendostrea frons (Coon Oyster) is a species of mussels in the family oyster. Adult Coon Oyster form marine reefs. Dead Coon Oyster form shallow marine sediments. Individuals can grow to 140 mm. They have sexual reproduction. They are sessile animals.
