One of Powell's species has been merged into this epithet. This was once considered Buccinulum multilinea [Powell] Compare this to the secondary photos of Buccinulum linea ss [Martyn] [a rather rusty example] to see why Powell separated these. Linea is considerably coarser in lines. I don't recall seeing an intermediate form. What's more the coarse lined shells reach greater size.
