Grus japonensis (Manchurian crane) is a species of bird in the family cranes. It is listed as endangered by IUCN and in CITES Appendix I. It is associated with freshwater habitat. It is found in the Palearctic. It is a omnivore. Individuals are known to live for 25.2 years.

  • Definition: Appendix I lists species that are the most endangered among CITES-listed animals and plants.
