Psittacula krameri (Rose Ringed Parakeet) is a species of birds in the family Psittaculidae. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Myanmar, Afghanistan, Mauritania, China, Uganda, Djibouti, Sri Lanka, Nigeria, The Central African Republic, Chad, Ghana, Cameroon, Vietnam, Burkina Faso, Liberia, Pakistan, Ethiopia, Benin, Eritrea, Guinea-Bissau, Sudan, Sierra Leone, Togo, Senegal, Bhutan, India, Bangladesh, Niger, CôTe D’Ivoire, Nepal, The Gambia, Egypt, Mali, and Guinea. Reproduction is dioecious. They rely on flight to move around.
