Sterna paradisaea (Arctic Tern) is a species of birds in the family Laridae. It is associated with freshwater habitat. It is found in Australasia, the Afrotropics, Antarctica, the Neotropics, the Palearctic, and the Nearctic. Arctic Tern is a diurnal vertivore. Individuals can grow to 127 g. Reproduction is dioecious. Arctic Tern has parental care (pair provides care).
