Montipora calcarea Bernard 1897

Montipora calcarea is a species of cnidarians in the family staghorn corals. They are listed as vulnerable by IUCN and in cites appendix ii. Dead Montipora calcarea form shallow marine sediments. Montipora calcarea form marine reefs. They have alternation of generations, asexual reproduction, and sexual reproduction. They are sessile animals.
