Helix pomatia (Burgundy Snail) is a species of Gastropoda in the family Helicid snails. They are native to the Palearctic. Dead Burgundy Snail form shallow marine sediments. They are nocturnal herbivores. They have sexual reproduction. They have parental care (paternal care and female provides care).
