They are native to AmazôNia, Amapá, RondôNia, Santa Catarina, Acre (Brazil), Caatinga, Bahia, Mato Grosso Do Sul, GoiáS, Pantanal, Mata Atlântica, Alagoas, Cerrado, Paraná, Espirito Santo, Pernambuco, Sergipe, Piauí, Tocantins, Rio De Janeiro, Pará, Mato Grosso, Ceará, SãO Paulo, Rio Grande Do Sul, Roraima, Maranhao, ParaíBa, Rio Grande Do Norte, Distrito Federal, and Minas Gerais. They have broad leaves.
