This is one of the 100 common trees in Hong Kong. Originated from Madagascar, Its flowers and seeds are poisonous, if taken, symptoms include slobber, stomachache and diarrhea. but its bark can be used as medicine to lower blood pressure and relieve dizziness, heat-clearing presscriptions, antibiotics as well as insect repellents.
