Grindelia (Gumweed) is a genus of herb in the family Asteraceae. They are native to The Americas, The Contiguous United States, Canada, and Western North America. They have achenes. Flowers are visited by Speyeria zerene puntareyes, Melissodes pullatellus, Vanessa cardui, and Burnsius communis.
