Hydrophis platurus (Yellow Bellied Sea Snake) is a species of snakes in the family Elapids. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Indian Ocean and Pacific Ocean. They are nocturnal carnivores. Individuals can grow to 55 cm. They have sexual reproduction. Reproduction is dioecious.
