Ichthyosaura alpestris (Alpine Newt) is a species of amphibians in the family Salamandridae. It is associated with freshwater habitat. It is found in the Palearctic. Individuals can grow to 120 mm. Alpine Newt has sexual reproduction. Reproduction is dioecious.
