Nasua nasua (South American Coati) is a species of mammals in the family raccoons. They are native to The Neotropics, Peru, Argentina, Brazil, Suriname, Guyana, Paraguay, Uruguay, Ecuador, French Guiana, Venezuela, Colombia, and Bolivia. They are solitary, diurnal omnivores. Individuals are known to live for 212.4 months and can grow to 527.63 mm. Reproduction is viviparous and dioecious. They rely on running to move around.
