Macaca assamensis (Assam Macaque) is a species of primates in the family Old World monkeys. It is listed as near threatened by IUCN and in CITES Appendix II. It is found in the Palearctic and the Indo-Malayan Realm. It is a diurnal frugivore. Individuals are known to live for 31.4 years and can grow to 12000 g. Reproduction is dioecious.
