Macaca assamensis (Assam Macaque) is a species of primates in the family Old World monkeys. They are listed as near threatened by IUCN and in cites appendix ii. They are found in the palearctic and the indo-malayan realm. They are diurnal omnivores. Individuals can grow to 605 mm. Reproduction is viviparous and dioecious.
