Sequoiadendron giganteum (Giant Sequoia) is a species of tree in the family Cupressaceae. It has a self-supporting growth form. It is listed as endangered by IUCN. Giant Sequoia is native to United States, western north america, and the contiguous United States. It has simple, spine-shaped leaves and green flowers. It is a photoautotroph.
