Tamias striatus (Eastern Chipmunk) is a species of rodents in the family squirrels. It is found in the Nearctic. It is a solitary granivore. Individuals can grow to 112 g. Reproduction is dioecious. Eastern Chipmunk relies on arboreal (locomotion) to move around.
