Prunus emarginata (Bitter Cherry) is a species of tree in the family Rosaceae. They are native to Canada, The Contiguous United States, Western North America, and United States. They have white flowers and drupes. Flowers are visited by Camberwell beauty, Andrena schuhi, Andrena quercina, and Brachypalpus oarus. Individuals can grow to 80 feet.
