Prunus americana (American Plum) is a species of tree in the family Rosaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Canada, The Contiguous United States, Western North America, and United States. They have simple, broad leaves, white flowers, and drupe. Flowers are visited by Bathycetes, Brown-belted Bumblebee, Criorhina nigriventris, and Ant-like longhorn beetle. Individuals can grow to 24 feet.
