Geum (Avens) is a genus of perennial herb in the family Rosaceae. They are native to Alaska, Canada, Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, The Contiguous United States, and Greenland. They have achenes. Flowers are visited by Toxomerus geminatus, Greenish Blue, Syrphus attenuatus, and Silvery Blue. Individuals can grow to 0.4 m.
