Gorilla beringei (Eastern Gorilla) is a species of primates in the family Hominidae. They are listed as critically endangered by IUCN and in cites appendix i. They are native to Ethiopia. They are diurnal herbivores. Reproduction is viviparous. They have parental care (female provides care and paternal care).
