Scirpus (Sedges) is a genus of grass in the family sedges. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, Canada, The Contiguous United States, North America, and Alaska. Flowers are visited by Platycheirus, Scotinophara, and Cryptophilus.
