Plecotus austriacus (Gray Big Eared Bat) is a species of bats in the family Vespertilionidae. It is found in the Palearctic and the Afrotropics. It is an invertivore. Individuals are known to live for 180 months and can grow to 7.3 g. Reproduction is viviparous and dioecious. Gray Big Eared Bat relies on flight to move around.
