Xerochrysum bracteatum (Bracted Strawflower) is a species of annual herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Oceania continent (Australia, NZ and islands). They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Scolia clypeata, Cyrestis thyodamas, Common Eastern Bumblebee, and Graphium macleayanum. Individuals can grow to 0.66 m.
