Chloris pycnothrix (Spiderweb Chloris) is a species of grass in the family true grasses. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Caatinga, Espirito Santo, Bahia, Rio Grande Do Norte, Santa Catarina, Rio Grande Do Sul, Minas Gerais, Piauí, Maranhao, GoiáS, Distrito Federal, Mata Atlântica, Pampa, Mato Grosso Do Sul, SãO Paulo, Pernambuco, Ceará, Paraná, and Cerrado. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 0.45 m.
