Myrcia splendens (Punchberry) is a species of tree in the family myrtles. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Caatinga, Mata AtlâNtica, Pantanal, Cerrado, AmazôNia, and The Neotropics. They have simple, simple leaves. Individuals can grow to 30 m.
