Acrocomia aculeata (Yellow Coconut) is a species of tree in the family palms. They are native to Pará, Cerrado, GoiáS, Bahia, Rio De Janeiro, Mato Grosso, Mata AtlâNtica, SãO Paulo, Distrito Federal, Minas Gerais, Piauí, Ceará, and Maranhao. Flowers are visited by Trigona silvestriana. Individuals can grow to 12 m.
