Fragaria virginiana (Virginia Strawberry) is a species of perennial herb in the family Rosaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Alaska, Canada, Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, The Contiguous United States, and Western North America. They have simple, simple leaves. Flowers are visited by Eristalis dimidiata, Large bee-fly, Silvery Blue, and Hylaeus rudbeckiae. Individuals can grow to 29 cm.
