Cottus bairdii (Mottled Sculpin) is a species of ray-finned fishes in the family sculpins. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to The Nearctic. They are solitary, nocturnal carnivores. Individuals can grow to 15.0 cm. They have sexual reproduction. They have parental care (female provides care and paternal care). They rely on swimming and body/caudal fin propulsion to move around.
