Hydrozoa (Hydrozoans) is a group of cnidarians. There are 3758 species of hydrozoans, in 557 genera and 133 families. This group has been around since the Ediacaran Period. Hydrozoans are suspension feeders. They have asexual reproduction and sexual reproduction. Reproduction is dioecious. Hydrozoans are sessile animals.
