Limenitis arthemis (Red Spotted Purple) is a species of butterflies in the family brush-footed butterflies. They are native to The Nearctic. They visit flowers of parasol whitetop, plain gentian, flytrap dogbane, and eastern purple coneflower. Individuals can grow to 87.5 mm.
