Philander opossum (Gray Four Eyed Opossum) is a species of mammals in the family Didelphidae. It is found in the Neotropics. It is a solitary, nocturnal carnivore. Individuals are known to live for 42 months and can grow to 750 g. Reproduction is viviparous and dioecious. Philander opossum relies on arboreal (locomotion) to move around.
