Eragrostis virescens (Mexican Lovegrass) is a species of annual grass in the family True grasses. It has a self-supporting growth form. It is native to the contiguous United States, Canada, Rio de Janeiro, Mato Grosso do Sul, Cerrado, São Paulo, Paraná, Rio Grande do Sul, Tocantins, Minas Gerais, Amazônia, and Mata Atlântica. Mexican Lovegrass has simple, broad leaves. It is a photoautotroph. Individuals can grow to 0.47 m.
