Aepyprymnus rufescens (Rufous Bettong) is a species of mammals in the family Potoroidae. They are native to Oceania continent (Australia, NZ and islands). They are nocturnal herbivores. Individuals are known to live for 96 months. Reproduction is viviparous. They rely on saltation to move around.
