Pandoroidea is a superfamily of mussels. There are 81 species of Pandoroidea, in 10 genera and 2 families. This superfamily has been around since the middle triassic epoch. It includes groups like Pandoridae and Lyonsiidae. Dead Pandoroidea form shallow marine sediments. They have sexual reproduction. They are facultatively mobile animals.
