Tanaecium pyramidatum is a species of shrub in the family bignonias. It is an obligate climber. It is native to Rondônia, Amazônia, São Paulo, Paraná, Mato Grosso, Pernambuco, Tocantins, Rio Grande do Norte, Maranhao, Piauí, Rio Grande do Sul, Minas Gerais, Santa Catarina, Pará, Mato Grosso do Sul, Cerrado, Espirito Santo, Alagoas, Amapá, Bahia, Pampa, Ceará, Roraima, Paraíba, Goiás, Sergipe, Distrito Federal, Mata Atlântica, Caatinga, Amazônia, Pantanal, Rio de Janeiro, and Acre (Brazil). Tanaecium pyramidatum has compound, broad leaves. It is a photoautotroph.
