Harmonia axyridis (Harlequin Ladybird) is a species of beetles in the family ladybird beetles. They are native to Japan, China, Russia, North Korea, South Korea, the Palearctic, and Asia. They visit flowers of Phellodendron amurense. They are solitary, diurnal carnivores. Individuals can grow to 6.5 mm. They have parental care (female provides care). They rely on flight to move around.
