Chrysophyllum argenteum (Bastard Redwood) is a species of tree in the family Sapotaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Amapá, AmazôNia, Roraima, Pará, Acre (Brazil), and AmazôNia. They have simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Individuals can grow to 18 m.
