Acalypha macrostachya is a species of shrub in the family Euphorbiaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Bahia, SãO Paulo, Amazônia, Cerrado, Roraima, Minas Gerais, and Acre (Brazil). They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 9.5 m.
