Cyperus eragrostis (Tall Flatsedge) is a species of perennial herb in the family sedges. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Rio Grande Do Sul, Minas Gerais, Mata AtlâNtica, Cerrado, ParaíBa, Pampa, Mato Grosso, Ceará, Santa Catarina, Paraná, Piauí, GoiáS, Rio De Janeiro, Pantanal, Alagoas, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Sergipe, Caatinga, Maranhao, SãO Paulo, Espirito Santo, Bahia, Rio Grande Do Norte, Pernambuco, and Distrito Federal. They have simple, broad leaves.
