Eleocharis interstincta (Knotted Spike Rush) is a species of perennial herb in the family sedges. They are native to Alagoas, Distrito Federal, Rio De Janeiro, Minas Gerais, Caatinga, Rio Grande Do Sul, Amazônia, Tocantins, U.S. Virgin Islands, Sergipe, Espirito Santo, Mato Grosso, Rio Grande Do Norte, RondôNia, Pará, GoiáS, Pernambuco, Maranhao, The Contiguous United States, Roraima, Amapá, Santa Catarina, ParaíBa, Cerrado, Bahia, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Pantanal, Piauí, Paraná, Ceará, Puerto Rico, Mata Atlântica, Acre (Brazil), and SãO Paulo.
