They are native to Pantanal, Mata AtlâNtica, Roraima, Rio Grande Do Sul, Distrito Federal, ParaíBa, Espirito Santo, AmazôNia, Cerrado, Caatinga, Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso Do Sul, GoiáS, Paraná, Rio De Janeiro, Minas Gerais, Pernambuco, Bahia, Ceará, Santa Catarina, Puerto Rico, Pampa, SãO Paulo, Sergipe, Tocantins, The Contiguous United States, and U.S. Virgin Islands. They have simple, broad leaves.
