Potamogeton perfoliatus (Perfoliate Pondweed) is a species of perennial herb in the family Potamogetonaceae. It has a self-supporting growth form. It is associated with freshwater habitat. Perfoliate Pondweed is native to Greenland, the contiguous United States, Canada, Saint-Pierre et Miquelon, North America, eastern north america, Greece, Faroe Islands, Sweden, Iceland, Finland, United Kingdom, Poland, Bulgaria, Hungary, France, Canada, and Germany. It has simple, broad leaves. It is a photoautotroph. Individuals can grow to 2.5 m.
